Both Ayahs of the Qur’an are more prevalent on their own; others are Ayatul Kursi. The value and advantages of reciting Ayatul Kursi will be mentioned in this article.

The Text of “Ayatul-Kursi”

اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَوٰتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

Translation of the Meaning of “Ayatul-Kursi”

Following is the translation of the meaning of Ayatul-Kursi.

“Allah – there is no deity except Him, the Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows all that is before them and all that is behind them. They can grasp only that part of His knowledge, which He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their upholding does not weary Him. He is the Sublime, the Almighty One!”

Importance of Ayatul Kursi – Letsreadquran

Ayatul Kursi is a Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah (verse 255). Muhammad Prophet (SAW) said it is the Quran’s largest ayah. It is one of the four sections of the Quran related to Arsh (the Throne of Allah). Holy Prophet (SAW) said: “If anyone claims that he is not afflicted with any difficulties in the riches of his own, Shaitahan is not going to come near, or overlook the Qur’an, then the Ayatul Kursi, and then the final 3 Ayahs of Surah-e Baquarah.” Saying, “Shaitaan is not going to get close.”

Hazrat Ibn Masood (R.A.) said, “Allah the Exalted created nothing higher than Ayatul Kursi in the heavens and on earth than in the clouds or in Jahannam.” He said that no space in the sky, or on earth, was higher than that of Ayatul Kursi.

Ayatul Kursi Benefits of Reciting

  • One who every morning describes the Ayatul Kursi will be free, Allah’s security, until night.
  • if a person once describes it, Almighty Allah has to come and protect him/her, once he/she leaves the spot. Two pairs of Angels delegated to do so when they recited twice. If recited three times, Allah asks angels not to worry about the person being cared for by the Almighty.
  • Allah Almighty told Hazrat Musa (A.S.): “If you recite this from every namaz, Almighty Allah is going to turn his heart into a grateful heart. It will reward him to the prophets, and his deeds are like those of the truthful.
  • Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) said, “If you recite Ayatul Kursi before sleep, Allah sends you an Angel to come to take care of and protect you.”
  • Who recites the Ayatula Kursi after their Namaz will receive every prayer, and they will be kept safe and protected by Allah Almighty.

Allah Almighty says to Hazrat Musa (AS): “If anyone recites after each name, the Almighty will make his heart grateful (Shakireen), give him a reward of the Prophets, and his deeds will be like those of the truthful ones.” (Siddiqeen) and nothing but death will stop restraint go to heaven. ”

  • The Prophet (saw) said: “Anyone who, after every Fard Salat, recites Ayatul Kursi will give him a gratifying heart, acts truthful and reward like the Prophet (ambiya). Special thanks will come to him, and death is the only barrier to Jannat’s entry; when he dies, he will enter Jannat.”
  • An individual called upon Rasulallah (Saw), Hadhrat Ibne Masood (a), to teach him something for him. “Nabi said: ‘Your family, home, and even those houses around your house are going to defend you, your children.’ ‘Read Ayatul Kursi.’
  • Holy Prophet (SAWW) said that: “the Quran is the word of greatness and Surae Baqare is the leader of the Qur’an,” and “ayatul Kursi” is the leader of the Surae Baqara.
  • The prophets Musa (As) said to Allah: If after every salaat you are rehearsing, the Almighty (Shakireen) makes his heart grateful and gives him the reward of the prophets.
  • Holy Prophet (SAWW) said: whoever recites the first four ayats of Surah Baqarah, then Ayatul Kursi and suddenly the last three ayats of Surah e Baqarah, will not be afflicted with any difficulty in his riches or himself, Satan will not come near him and he will not forget the Qur’an.
